SOME INTRODUCTORY COMMENTARY TO THE COMMENTARY
To call WOL CULT a “ministry” these days is to believe a fallacy. Sure, there are a FEW who “think” WOL CULT is a ministry—-but (as most of us know)—-THINKING SOMETHING IS ‘TRUE’ DOESN’T MAKE IT, IN REALITY, TRUE.
You get the drift. But we digress.
41% of AMERICANS THINK human beings and dinosaurs co-existed. NOT TRUE. The TRUTH is that they missed each other by about 64 MILLION years.
People THINK you have to wait 24 hours before the Police will ‘accept’ and act on a ‘missing persons’ report. NOT TRUE. Each case is evaluated individually as they come in. (Something for KSD to consider should the Apostle “wander off”. )
People THINK that ‘shaving’ causes hair to grow back ‘thicker’—–which is very concerning for those Woller ladies contemplating getting a “Brazilian”. NOT TRUE. Regrown hair isn’t thicker, darker or coarser. It just seems like that because it grows back with a blunt tip. Now you COULD TEAR IT OUT BY THE ROOTS but that has something of a “downside” (so to speak).

The WOL CULT “ministry” has been—-for a very long time—-just “The Story Of Doyle”.
Lately, he’s been consumed—-CONSUMED—–by the Satanic attack on his ‘ministry’. He’s been laser-beam focused on his belief that there are those who are seeking to ‘take his ministry’ away from him’—and they must be punished..
We’d suggest that—-AT THIS POINT—–there is little, if anything, to TAKE.
This brings us to today’s tedious essay which harkens back to better days when Doyle was less concerned about the THREAT posed by “Enemies” and more concerned with one of his FAVORITE TOPICS: SEX (and it’s toxic effect on his congregation.)
We don’t have a planned Christmas post for you ignert people this year, but we remember how you whoremongers and sluts used to LOVE a good post about S-E-X.
So here is a new post that discusses that eternally popular topic. Hang in there. It starts kind-of slow, but it builds.

IF YOU CAN CONTROL THAT, YOU CAN CONTROL ANYTHING.

Here’s a tale for you that may explain a lot about the long history of ‘religious’ leaders seeking to control your sexual behaviors.
Manipulating ‘religionists’ learned LONG AGO that if you “teach” someone their natural urges are abhorrent (read: “sinful”), you can make them do anything!
There are reports coming out of the Middle East that groups like Hamas target young gay men to “volunteer” as suicide bombers. They are given a choice: be beaten to death and bring shame to their families, or strap on a suicide vest and kill some “infidels” and become a martyr (and your family is paid $50,000). If you are going to die anyway, we suppose the second choice is at least quick – and makes your Momma proud.
Throughout history, religions and denied or tried to control the sex lives of their followers. WOL CULT (Doyle) was known for this—-although not very ‘successful’—— IF the goal was to promote “monogamy”.
What the crazy old deluded coot was supposedly trying to do was promote “celibacy” for the incels and monogamy( if not celibacy) for the married Wollers. “Gawd”——Doyle would have you ‘believe’—is not a fan of YOU having sex.
Doyle was so ‘successful’ in this divine endeavor that WOL CULT is now devoid of any relatively sane young adults of ‘mating age’.
From a demographic point of view, this is INSTITUTIONAL SUICIDE.
A simple LOOK AROUND THE ROOM shows that the current group of Wollers are not exactly in their “peak years”.
We’d go so far as to ‘suggest’ that the sexual activity of the ‘average Woller’ is hovering near ZERO.
Especially now that the recently wed Apostles Foghorn and Kaspareit appear to have fled the coop.
Sex outside of marriage is usually proscribed in a conservative church —-and certainly in a fundi cult —-although that is a ‘value’ often ‘honored’ more in theory than in reality.
The supposed illicit behaviors of the Wollers—-which Doyle “knew in the Spirt” was certainly happening—– resulted in frequent reamings by the Apostle Leader, who roundly and colorfully condemned all sort of behaviors that NORMAL people indulge in AND behaviors that he himself indulged in during his younger days.
RULES FOR THEE BUT NOT FOR ME
Our point is —–sort of—–that what the religionists like Doyle have condemned seems to be rather universal and commonly occurring behavior. In terms of a RESULT, al the collective condemnations of that sort of behaviors have done little—-noting, really—to staunch such behaviors.

We suppose the Wollers were ‘fortunate’ in at least one regard. In other cultures and in the past, crimes like “adultery” were punished by death – often a gruesome death such as stoning.
. This still happens in cultures that operate under “Sharia Law”.
Fortunately, stoning sinners to death for their “sins” didn’t really catch on in Plan-Oh. The practice was discarded and, by 1980 or thereabouts was practically unknown in Plan-Oh.
Doyle was ‘teaching’ some time back about homosexuality in ANIMALS. (see the below attached video)
The Old Veterinarian claims to be something of an ‘expert’ on animal behavior and husbandry—so you can trust him when he teaches that “Gay Horses” are an abomination to “Gawd”.
That is not really an ‘issue’ that most of us must deal with every day, but it seemed important to the Apostle. Doyle was “teaching” and “dealing with” the much more important ‘issue’ of sex in his congregation.
When one looks out over the audience, one thing always stood out. Aside from being ‘older’, this was NOT a bunch that gave the appearance of being particularly ‘concupiscent”—-as Apostle Carp used to say. (Carp loved that word. It probably gave him a warm, moist feeling just saying it.)
Since most of the Wollers at the time were married, Doyle could not rail against the behavior of the singletons in the group.
There weren’t enough of them.
And, of course, there were SOME who simply COULD NOT be ‘rebuked’. Kathy Jane never caught any public flak from Dad when she married again after the death of Terry Mai—-although it is safe to say that Doyle didn’t actually give them his ‘blessing’. Kathy Jane’s new husband was also “off limits” and seldom IF EVER even MENTIONED. The man had his own ‘history’ with sexual “issues” and the legal system—— but Doyle’s method—at least publicly—-of dealing with this was simply to IGNORE him.
As far as Dad was concerned, Kathy Jane’s remarriage was not an appropriate subject for his “preaching/teaching”. Evidently the image of her new husband doing all sorts of preverted acts with her was more than the Apostolic Mind could bear and Doyle dealt with that in the same way he dealt with other facts that he did not “like”: he just DENIED it was happening.

Nevertheless, the Apostle had to face the daunting task of TEACHING the rest of the congregation that they were SINNING when they were doing the Dance With No Pants. Even if they weren’t doing any such thing.
It was a HARD SELL (no pun intended) to convince the few “sexually active” —-we assume there were a few—-Wollers that they needed to stop having sex. Most of his following was so old they hadn’t actually had sex since the Carter Administration.
(OK. We don’t “know” that, but that’s what the Spirt is telling us.)
“Prohibiting sex”—-it seemed to us—– was a particularly insensitive ruling to make. A few of the Wollers might still be doing that and might enjoy it. Why were they singled out to be denied that sort of pleasure?
Well, of course, it was about CONTROLLING THEM
What kind of cult would it be if it didn’t demand SACRIFICE? But, evidently, few were willing to make that sacrifice and the numbers continued to dwindle.
Doyle tried to IMPLY that he and KSD were going at it like crazed rabbits, but no one (certainly not in this wicked blog) believed that. Doyle’s repeated claim that KSD WOULD BE THE MOTHER OF “JOHN” elicited guffaws every time the old boy made that claim.
The “prophesied conception” of Doyle’s Imaginary Son “John” was just another of Doyle’s Delusions.
Still, not everyone at the cult obeyed Doyle’s call to celibacy.
Finally, Apostles Foghorn and Kaspareit met someone not put off by their cult ties and their weirdness. There is—-Grandma used to say—“A Ginny for every Jack” —– someone who—inexplicably— was willing to have actual sex with the Junior Apostles (allegedly)—– despite the Apostle’s best efforts to yank that away from them.

Doyle may have had a point about the poisonous effect of wimmen on the male Wollers. We can’t recall the exact dates involved, but at ‘around’ the time that the Boy Apostles finally got laid, they started to question everything—including the obvious question of WHY WAS A SENILE OLD NUT IN CHARGE?
Hence, The Rebellion.
Was such plotting the result of pillow talk or the need to actually accomplish something with their lives that precipitated the insurrection/rebellion?
We may never know.

What we do know is that Doyle—-who had the Word From Gawd on this,—–wanted the WORLD to know that sex even within marriage was seen as unseemly and disgusting. It was something you have to do to make babies and that’s it. (SHADES OF CATHOLICISM)
Gawd Forbid that you might ENJOY yourselves in ANY WAY, but especially in the realm of physical intimacy and pleasure.
The Wollers (well, all of mankind) were all tainted by THE “ORIGINAL SIN” committed by that well-known OT slut. (That would be EVE, not Lisa—although the ‘sluttishness’ of Lisa was thoroughly explored by the Apostle.)
It has long been taught at WOL CULT (DOYLE) that wimmen are evil Jezebels who need to be contained and controlled lest their lust get the better of we men who are ‘pure’—but barely. Pure in spirt, if not in deed.
The MALE NATURE—— testosterone-driven as it is—-renders us easily seduced by whores with their tempting temptations of the flesh and the jiggling booties of the Dancing Jezebels at the Cultshack.
The mere sight of this carnal display was enough to cause the male members (pun intended) at the cult to become engorged with lust as the sensual Jezebels hopped, skipped and twirled around the dance floor dressed in their Sunday finest.
Some religions teach that a woman showing her hair or a sexy ankle was “asking for it” as she was not modestly covered from head to toe. Hair wasn’t an issue for the Jezzies at WOL CULT but high-heeled shoes seemed to have an unusual attraction for the Apostle. You can’t blame a man for raping when they are showing off like that, right?
The WOL CULT Dancing Girls were—despite Gramp’s suspicions— VERY careful to appear MODEST and not incite the males who were observing them hoping to SEE something—anything-— that might lead to bad thoughts and “sin”.
(We were of the opinion that the ‘non-suggestive’ manner of dancing had more to do with their lack of actual dancing ability and less to do with any instructions to ‘keep it clean’.)
Nevertheless, some male viewers (principally Apostle Ballard of MOL CULT) were practically hypnotized into a near comatose state by the twirling petticoats and shapely legs of “certain dancers” that were tantalizingly but discreetly revealed by the Dancers.
A cynic might well conclude—-as Apostle Ballard likely did—- that they were JUST ASKING FOR IT.
At one point, in what may have been an effort to emphasize his ‘righteousness’, Doyle informed the Wollers that he —-personally—had “never raped KSD”. We do not KNOW if such a charge was ever leveled at him—-or why he thought it necessary to DENY it, but there it is.
In what might well have been a blessing, Doyle lost his eyesight and was no longer subject to the temptations of the Dancing Girls at WOL CULT .
The whole routine of the WOL CULT Circle Dance was radically modified when the Apostle could no longer SEE well enough to prance up and down the center aisle during the “wurship segment” of the show and eye up the girls (the way he did when Lisa was a featured dancer). Doyle had to sit and stare into the stage lighting as the girls rotated in and out in front of him. We thought T-Bone’s ‘divine appointment’ to the Exalted Position of “Minister Of The Dance” was the pinnacle of her ministerial career.
Anyway, that particular avenue of arousal / entertainment was taken from him.
Fortunately for His Holiness, advanced age, “low T”, a state of near blindness and incipient heart failure effectively rendered the Apostle immune from the Temptation of the Jezebel.
Things did take a ‘darker turn’ when KSD began sharing his bed and Doyle could not restrain himself from relating a few stories of how he sought to ‘deliver’ her by stroking her backside. THAT ‘image’ still haunts readers of the Forum (not to mention KSD) to this day.
It seems unlikely that KSD had taught the South Benders about THAT phase of her life. (One is reminded of the words of the commentator/humorist Oscar Levant who said, of Doris Day’s contrived image of ‘purity’: “I knew Doris Day before she was a virgin.”)
But we digress.
Doyle went on to ‘famously teach’ that “any man who has sex with his waf is a fool.” Shockingly, this ‘revealed word’ did not garner a mass following.

If Foghorn and Kaspareit adhere to these teachings of their former Leader, their wafs are going to have very BORING ‘marital experiences’. Someone should look to see if they are already advertising to meet someone on Tinder.
So Doyle’s ‘teachings’ went some distance in explaining the collapse of the cult.
The above linked video is riddled with so many ERRORS of reasoning that it is truly AMAZING that people would actually sit there and listen to him.
Cult Leaders SURVIVE by getting people to feel they are “sinners” and somehow damaged goods, whose only redemption can be had through slavish following of the dictates of said religious leaders.
It’s a pretty neat trick to pull off if you can do it – and for millennia, some did pull it off.
For Doyle—in the grand scope of things—his ‘success’ was rather short-lived.
A big problem for not a few of those “leaders” was when they got CAUGHT doing the very things they were condemning the rank-and-file for doing.
MOL CULT PRINCIPLE: It is difficult to credibly condemn and control people for doing the very thing YOU are doing (or did).
The audience tends to just…..drift away. and sadly—take their tithes and offerings with them.
There is an old joke that “if you are not embarrassed after having sex, you didn’t do it right.” It is natural, we think, to be embarrassed and even repulsed by sex at times, otherwise you’d do it all day long and starve to death.
We DO have to do it for the species to survive, but at the same time, we seem to have another impulse to not do it. The ‘impulse’ doesn’t CONSUME most sane people.
But we think this dichotomy of instinct can drive people insane – particularly if they are manipulated into thinking somehow they are uniquely bad for this and not merely human.
What better way is there to drive people crazy than to tell them their natural urges are…. unnatural?
(This also plays into the time-honored scam of telling people that all of their complicated problems can be solved with simple solutions. If you just change one thing in your life—just believe Doyle’s gawspel—- everything else will fall into place! But life isn’t that simple and simple answers to complex problems are always the wrong answers).
It ain’t rocket science, people. You tell these gullible young men than their problem is jerking off and that if they just stopped, they won’t burn in Hell. THAT ought to incentivize them.

ANOTHER TEDIOUS MOL CULT COMMENTARY:
We’ve been taking a hiatus from commenting about the nonsense at WOL CULT because……well, we felt like taking a break.
Sunday morning, we—BRIEFLY—- tuned into the live show to see what was going on. Perhaps some new idea or initiative had been implemented. Perhaps the Apostle had another bright idea about reaching the “world” with his gawspel.
What we heard was Doyle reading aloud from a copy of his famous “book” “What Is The Gawspel”.
This is not a ‘new book’. Doyle ‘wrote’ this YEARS AGO.
On the WOL CULT Website, Doyle discusses this writing:
“In the early nineties, God directed me to transcribe my recorded teachings from Water of Life Christian Training School into five books. Out of those teachings came forth, “Jesus Did the Father’s Will”, “He Rose Again”, “The Gospel Is Always a Blessing”, “Jesus On the Cross” and “God’s Plan of Reconciliation”. In 1997 the Spirit of God brought out of my heart, the book “What Is the Gospel?”
Doyle went on (on the website) to write about those “books”—-pamphlets, really—–and what happened when he sent copies to a gaggle of ‘preachers’. presumably with the intent of “teaching” THEM that their own theology was ‘wrong’ and that Doyle had somehow excavated the “Truth” about Christianity—-a truth that had been hiding in plain sight for about 2,000 years and that NO ONE ELSE had seen.
Here is a cut-and-paste of Doyle’s statement about the RESPONSE those preachers had to his relevations:
“After the publishing of these first five books the Lord directed me to send a set to each of 36 well known preachers. I did as He directed along with a short letter stating “The Spirit of the Lord has directed me to make these books available for your reading. I pray that you will do as Paul requested Timothy in II Timothy 2:7; Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.” The replies I received in return were incredible. Except for very few, such as Jamie Buckingham, the responses were not even relevant to my letter.
There was some continuing correspondence at the Lord’s direction to several ministries that ended in them being highly offended at my response. Their actions over the course of time became instrumental in getting me removed from several TV stations. Then in January of 1991 as I was considering all the responses and the actions of these ministries to the books God had me write the Lord spoke these words to me; “Is there not a cause?” I knew that statement referred to David as he spoke to his brothers concerning Goliath. Goliath walked in witchcraft and many of these ministries walk in that same spirit.”
Doyle was apparently SHOCKED that his divinely inspired ‘books’ were not exactly ‘well received’.
Periodically, Doyle dredges up this sophomoric claptrap and tried to get someone interested in his ‘theology’.
He had his “books” translated into some other languages, put into digital format and the result was an immediate thud. It only took Doyle about a decade to ‘realize’ that he needed to “advertise” these world-changing ‘books’ if anyone was going to read them.
So in November, 2019, Doyle began advertising several of the books on the social media sites Facebook and Instagram. Ad buys were targeted at Central and South America and Izrul.
“Free downloads” were offered to what was surely an eager and now receptive audience. He also had hard copies of at least some of these books and planned to distribute them upon request.
If any of you have need of some bedding for your hamster cages, we presume there are still some copies available from the Cultshack. (You’ll have to shred them yourself.)
There has been no update from the “ministry” as to HOW MANY hard copy pamphlets have been distributed or how many times the “books” were digitally downloaded. or the results that tell us of how ‘lives were changed’ as a consequence (fruit) of having read Doyle’s “gawspel”,
Given the current situation in the Middle East, there is practically no media ministry that is not banging on their own particular view of the “End-Times” and trying to scare the viewers into…..what?
Repentance?
Joining their group?
Sending money?
We’re not going to get into a lengthy—and ultimately futile—exposition about “End-Times” theology here.
BUT—-we will say this:
“End-times” prognostications are generally FEAR-BASED and have historically—-to varying extents—-worked.
After the October attacks by Hamas, the media was 24-7 reporting on the DIRE CONSEQUENCES that would/could/might flow from this despicable act. WW3 was imminent. “Diplomats” from everywhere were scrambling to muzzle the Israelis “response”.
Because if there is one thing we KNOW about the Jews, it is this: FAFO.
Anyway, Doyle sought to find a way to capitalize on the FEAR that the Jewish ‘response’ would trigger WW3. SO: he’s pulled out his old book “What Is The Gawspel?”
Surely , people will be mining the Internet seeking some solid, reliable advice and counsel concerning “what’s next?”
WE HAVE SOME THOUGHTS:
From the outset, it is likely that the Israeli Government and Leaders KNEW that the lives of the hostages were forfeit. Those who were captured—-and not raped and tortured to death—were going to die when the SHTF and there was nothing that could realistically be done about that.
COLLATERAL DAMAGE IS INEVITABLE IN WAR
The Armchair Generals who talked about “sending the Special Forces in to rescue them” were —-AS USUAL—-blowing smoke out of their hindparts. Idiot “commentators” who have NO MILITARY EXPERIENCE never realize that combat isn’t a MOVIE. Whenever you hear “Expert commentators” on the media start talking, it is important to know that:
MOL CULT PRINCIPLE: IN THE INITIAL STAGES, THOSE WHO KNOW AREN’T TALKING AND THOSE WHO TALK DON’T REALLY KNOW.
From a LEFTIST ‘media’ point of view, it’s not about being ACCURATE anyway.
It’s about “shaping the narrative”.
Hamas: Good. Jews: Bad.
AND —-OF COURSE—WHAT KIND OF RATINGS DID WE GET ON THOSE BROADCASTS?
And that sums up the history of the Mideast from time immemorial up through the present day. The “ministries” just RIDE THE WAVE and try to shore up their fiscal bottom line.
(Give generously so we can keep our own organization afloat. In the commercials for the ICFJ, Yael even took off her big diamond ring before filming, having –no doubt—‘donated it to the cause’.)
WAR IS INCREASINGLY SEEN by many ‘cynical observers’ AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO FEED AT THE TROUGH OF HUMAN SUFFERING. (Actually, it has ALWAYS been thus.)
In fairness, she wasn’t the ONLY ‘ministry” that sought to turn a buck on WAR. Doye is late to the party but—AGAIN—-
he did what he could to capitalize on FEAR
.
With nothing really to offer to his shrinking band of viewers, he dragged out his copy of “What is The Gawspel?” and —-in an awesome display of his regained eyesight, he “read” to the viewers.
Those who have actually read his “book” know that it is a MESS of cherry-picked copy-and-pasted scriptures accompanied with “Doyle’s teaching commentary” which is amateurish as its BEST.
The ‘books’ that were intended to form the basis of his ‘theology’ —his “Pentateuch”, as it were, never sold and brought nothing to the ‘conversation’ about the Christian faith.
How could they?
His “books” were the product of his disordered mind. Even back then, Doyle and WOL CULT were on an inexorable decline and things have not improved with the passage of time.
Sure, there will always be a FEW SOULS who “think” they are part of a group that , with Doyle as their ‘leader’, they hold the Keys to the Kingdom, so to speak.
But Doyle established LONG AGO that WOL CULT would NEVER be anything but a fringe group that had a very skewed ‘understanding’ of what Jesus was actually teaching.
MOL CULT EDUCATIONAL PRINCIPLE: IF THE ‘TEACHER’ IS CRAZY, THE ‘SUCCESSFUL’ STUDENTS WILL ALSO BE CRAZY.
The Sunday Morning Show was a metaphor for Doyle’s ‘ministry’.
At one point, EVEN DOYLE seemed to realize that he had “lost his audience”.
His ‘reading” was indecipherable and unlistenable as he used his ‘gravelly’ voice to pluck verses out of Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians and ‘teach’ his listeners.
The “commanding” voice that—in years past—he USED to try to impart a sense of ‘authority and gravitas’ to the congregation is now a distant memory —-except in HIS HEAD.
And aside from the failed voice, there is his demented thought process that renders him incapable of ‘teaching’ (as if he EVER WAS ”CAPABLE”.)
EVERYONE at WOL CULT KNOWS THIS—-which is WHY some tried to ‘persuade him to step aside’. KSD continues to struggle to contain her FRUSTRATION with the old coot.
On the upside, Doyle is NOT—-we prophesy—going to ‘raise money’ or ‘grow the congregation’ on the back of dead Jews and Palestinians.
The only thing his ‘ministry’ is doing is GIVING HIM SOMEPLACE TO GO at ‘meeting times’ and letting him revel in his old (fragmented) MEMORIES of TIMES LONG PAST.
At this point, we don’t really even know why we BOTHER with watching and commenting. There is nothing NEW that can be said and nothing we say seems to penetrate the skulls of the few remaining Wollers who will—-IN ALL LIKELIHOOD —-remain deluded until the very end.
That is why these TEDIOUS “COMMENTARIES” are becoming fewer and more intermittent.
BUT, we did TRY.

The Apostle recently had a ‘message’ posted on FB that was a picture of him standing in front of a Christmas tree and basically the message was that he was enjoying seeing the Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations that KSD (?) presumably set up in the Arena.

There was a time in which Doyle would have roundly reprimanded people for celebrating Christmas. But that was then and this is now.
Clearly KSD has ‘broken’ with Doyle—-in belief if not in physical separation (Because being broke, homeless and with few, if any, prospects at almost 70 years of age is not the “reward” she was expecting.)
. Anytime Doyle veers off the pavement (which is all too common) and she tries to get him back “on track”, he is very likely to insult and ‘rebuke’ her. As most men know, that is one of the best ways to get a woman to simply let you hang yourself out to dry.
While we are rather unsympathetic to KSD—she asked for what she has received—–we are amazed that it took her as long as it did for her to SEE what Doyle was all about.
BUT—delusion is a powerful drug. We wonder if part of her ‘disillusion’ was that she got ‘tired’ of Doyle announcing that he shared a bed with her.
Not only did those ‘relevations’ accomplish nothing (Doyle’s own ‘appeal’ was not enhanced’) but they seriously pranged KSD’s own ‘credibility’ as she sought to start her own ‘ministry’.
Can ANYONE take her SERIOUSLY as a “minister”?
Did KSD finally leave the reservation when Doyle announced that he was seeking a new Waf? Periodically he has someone (Geer?) post on FB that he is awaiting the arrival of the Next Waf That “Gawd” Is Going To Send To Him?
Why haven’t any of the Woller Wimmen STEPPED UP and began their “Walk With The Apostle”?

There are people who literally spend every last waking moment trying to solve unsolvable problems and answer unanswerable questions . People like Doyle (and the Wollers) are obsessed with “finding and ‘pleasing’ Jesus” and “going to heaven”.
It can be a frustrating ‘search’ for certainty (it always is) ——-but some folks NEVER STOP LOOKING FOR SOMETHING THAT JUST DOESN’T EXIST.
We might call that the “SASQUATCH SYNDROME”. (Or Doyle’s belief that a ‘new waf’—-a “helpmeet” —-is lurking out there (he went there again on his FB page yesterday) just waiting for the right moment to burst onto the scene and displace KSD.)
There is usually someone around who will provide (sell) them the ‘certainty’ what they WANT TO BELIEVE is true.

It’s a funny thing about religious types – they all believe they are going to go to heaven when they die, but yet they are deathly afraid (sorry) of death itself and try to live as long as possible.
The question we’ve always had is: if heaven is so swell, WHY WAIT? Why aren’t you walking out in front of a bus? The pour deluded souls who followed Jim Jones into oblivion EAGERLY drank the Kool-Aid.
But Doyle won’t touch the stuff.
Narcissists may FEAR death, more frequently they simply DENY that it will ever come to them. That has been Doyle’s approach.
The “fear and trembling” response to the prospect of being held accountable aspect of the cult beliefs seem ODD to us because the Woller’s—-especially the old ladies—- seem like they are nice enough and not exactly wanton sinners.
(OBVIOUSLY, the “sexual sins” they have been charged with are products of Doyle’s MIND and are not rooted in THEIR behaviors. Well, in most cases, anyway. There was that business during her honeymoon phase with Doyle about KSD and her “sex toys”.)
If the Wollers themselves are unsure —or relatively unsure—if they made the cut or not, what hope is there for any of those us who are TRULY EVIL?
But maybe the Ladies of WOL know they did something horrible earlier in their lives that hasn’t ‘caught up’ with them …..YET.

WHY should you ignert people even CARE about questions that cannot be answered?
What we see in the world today is that folks who believe in made-up answers are quite willing to kill over them or BE killed to ‘defend’ them. Now, that’s ‘belief’.
This poses the very real (existential?) risk FOR ALL OF US that they will—-with this sort of ‘belief’——- destroy the country, the government, the economy , our way of life and even the PLANET.
This is WHY “cults” are dangerous.
At the ‘end of the day’ you either KNOW something or you DON’T, AND “FEELINGS” ARE NOTORIOUSLY TRANSIENT AND UNRELIABLE.

We do KNOW that in the history of ‘religion’, few PEOPLE have ‘clean hands’.
A STICKING POINT: there is no way to ‘prove’ there even IS such a thing as the “afterlife”—-Heaven or Hell—-except by DYING.
(You can “feel” whatever you CHOOSE, but actual reports from the ‘other side’ are—in our view—- rather dubious.)
Saying ‘so-and-so’ is in heaven (or hell) IS SIMPLY NOT KNOWABLE.
And by then, it’s a moot point anyway. It is SAID to make the survivors FEEL BETTER.
We’d go bit farther and suggest that what someone wrote down in an Iron Age book, thousands of years ago (or last week) isn’t an “answer” – that’s just faith – ——-blind faith that someone else has or had the answer.
Belief-based ‘answers’ to UNKNOWABLE PROBLEMS are—-therefore— really not answers at all, but just stories someone made up.
AND THERE IS ALWAYS AN AGENDA.

Doyle, of course , has always evaded the question of what will happen to him when he dies by CLAIMING that he simply will not die. The “fifteen more years” bulls**t is just another way of kicking the can down the road. Doyle has claimed that he will not die but will “meet Jeez in the clouds”.

Few people who are sane REALLY WANT TO DIE, but the truth is that—-whether you want to or not—- people die. They die for various reasons, but no one—-NO ONE IN A PHYSICAL FORM —gets out of this alive. To ‘believe’ you will is DELUSIONAL.
That’s WHY—-we suggest—-most of us just ‘prefer’ not to think about it.
And it’s EASY to “not think about it” when we’re young, strong, healthy and full of vinegar. But there comes a point in life when you simply can’t AVOID ‘thinking about it’.

The “UNKNOWN” is always a scary notion to contemplate, but there really is no choice.

FOR NOW in this nation, we have the ‘freedom’ to “believe what we WANT to ‘believe’ EVEN IF THERE IS NO EVIDENCE FOR WHAT WE CHOOSE TO “BELIEVE”. We “suggest” what someone wrote down in a book thousands of years ago a (or last week) isn’t an “answer” – that’s just faith – blind faith that someone else has or had the answer.

IF the only “answers” people find are not fact-based, but belief-based (and therefore not answers at all). then we are left to conclude that those “answers” are just stories someone made up.

As much as children—-and some adults, let’s be honest—–“want to believe”, there is no proof of the existence of Santa Claus. If there was real proof, it would not be a theory.
What is interesting (at least to us) is that in a relatively short time —-if they are taught it at all—-CHILDREN come to REALIZE that the story of Santa Claus is a MYTH.
The known FACTS are inconsistent with reality. It is fun to “believe” when one is a young child—-and even probably benign. It is when one fails to RECOGNIZE that the story doesn’t really hold water that ‘problems’ can arise.
MYTHOLOGY REALLY MEANS ‘BELIEVING A FANTASY’
The story of “Santa” is a compelling narrative (story). All you have to do is “be good” and the presents will arrive on Christmas morning. “Interestingly”, when you “stop believing in Santa”, the presents stop coming.

This is why a YOUNG CHILD will often ‘twist’ his thinking into knots in order to keep the toys coming.
TOYS AND GOODIES WILL MAGICALLY APPEAR.
Just as truckloads of gold and siler will be dumped in your driveway, your visual problems will be magically ‘healed’ and you will never die—-these ‘beliefs’ (no matter how firmly held) are doomed by REALITY to fail.
But ‘believing’ this sort of nonsense seems to be a human characteristic and—-shockingly—the concept is at the heart of WOL CULT “theology”. It ‘appeals’ to people with the mental capacity for discernment of a 4 year old child.
At the core of practically any ‘religion’ is the BELIEF that what you ‘receive’ is directly related to “believing” what you are told about it by some “authority figure”.
Also at the core of the ‘belief’—and underlying the mythology—- is that the “authority” figures KNOW that they are running a scam. Just as “Mom and Dad” KNOW they had to purchase the toys; that Santa didn’t just drop them in the living room.
“Believers” at cults like WOL are WILLING PARTICIPANTS in what amount to a DECEPTION. This is in contrast to most adults —the “wicked and hated unbelievers” who recognize that the REASON people try to convince you of their “Facts” is so that they can ROB you.
We’ve always found it fascinating when ‘preachers’ claim—-WITH NO PRESENTED EVIDENCE—-that this person or that is “in Heaven” after they physically DIE. How many of you have attended a funeral in which the deceased was “preached into Heaven”—-as it used to be called?
HOW DO THEY “KNOW” THAT THE DEAD ARE IN HEAVEN?
There may be those who DESIRE that for their now dead loved ones—–but wanting something doesn’t necessarily make it SO. Most of you probably know people who were unrepentant sinners of the most egregious kind who were ‘preached into heaven’ at their funerals. This likely makes the crowd feel better because if THAT criminal a-hole is “in heaven’, WHO WON’T MAKE THE CUT? We’re going to be in the VIP lounge.”
The “minister” is, objectively speaking, making statements that he/she CANNOT KNOW. He/she is—IN EFFECT—-selling out his ‘theology’ to the crowd.
HERE IS WHAT WE DO “KNOW”: NO ONE ‘KNOWS’ WHAT HAPPENS AFTER DEATH.
BUT, there are plenty of people who THINK they know. It seems EVERYONE HAS AN OPINION.
The ‘position’ of Objectivists is that merely holding an ‘opinion’ is NOT PROOF. The held ‘opinion’ may seem reasonable, even desirable, but that doesn’t make it true. Likewise, some opinions may initially seem outlandish and yet, IN TIME, end up being verified as ‘true’. Galileo was locked up in house arrest until he DIED because he taught that the Earth revolved around the Sun when all the “experts” / ‘theologians’ knew that was not just ‘wrong’ but HERETICAL.
As we wrote above: it is DISHONEST to claim you “know” what you do not “know”. As the shyster lawyers say: This “assumes facts not in evidence”.
“Religion” is not the only area of life that embraces this flawed reasoning.
If there is ANOTHER “ISSUE” that is riddled with “experts” claiming that they “know what they do not know” is with the current “climate change” BELIEFS.

The recent pandemic—-and the response of the ‘authorities’—–scared the daylights out of many people. People were physically attacking people in grocery store lines. Old folks were dying en mass.
The ‘authorities’ played a part in this PANIC.

(But it could be David Jeremiah or even Hagee and Son, who have the ticket out? Who knows? Can you AFFORD to give cash to ALL OF THEM? What if you pick the wrong one? One might as well go to the roulette wheel in an Indian casino and bet your life savings on red.)

But regarding the actual answer to the question of “IS THIS REAL?” There is, we suggest, insufficient data to draw a definite conclusion (although we have our ‘beliefs’ about that.) .
Atheists, for example, believe that when you die, that’s it. You cease to exist for all time and you rot in the grave. Could be, but again, that is a belief—– not some scientific “fact” – despite what atheists may tell you.
Both cult religionists AND ‘atheists” are ASSUMING their own set of ‘facts’, fact that they CAN NOT “KNOW”.

Doyle was in his ‘teaching mode’ on Sunday morning. That is always a sign to strap in for some crazy stuff.
There was no overarching ‘theme’ to his message (but that is nothing new. There never IS a theme.)
Doyle careened wildly around various cherry-picked scriptures and seemed to settle (more-or-less) on the need to know what the “Holy Spirit” is. Doyle informed the Wollers what that is. He had to ‘teach’ this to them because NO ONE HAD EVER HEARD ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT BEFORE DOYLE FIGURED IT OUT.
For Doyle, a core ‘principle’ of this is the ability to speak in tongues’.

In a show in which ‘speaking in tongues’ was a central part f Doyle’s topic, it was “interesting” that neither he nor any of the assembled multitude had a “tongue”.
Doyle said that he “spoke in tongues” but did not do so on Sunday. Neither did KSD—who has a real talent for this king of thing.

Doyle found her to be impressive. Doyle—-at that time—-was coalescing his ‘beliefs’ into what would become Woller ‘doctrine’.

Burroughs Waltrip was a Texas evangelist. He divorced his first wife, left his family, moved to Mason City, Iowa and started a revival center called Radio Chapel, for which Kuhlman and her pianist friend, Helen Gulliford, helped him raise funds.
After a romance between Waltrip and Kuhlman began, she told her friends that she could not “find the will of God in the matter”, seemingly feeling guilt-ridden. Kuhlman’s friends tried to encourage her to not marry Waltrip, however she reasoned that Waltrip’s wife had left him, not the other way around (the details of their separation are not clear).
On October 18, 1938, she secretly married “Mister,” as she called him, in Mason City, but the wedding supposedly brought her no peace. The couple had no children and eventually separated in 1944, divorcing in 1948.
By 1970 she had moved to Los Angeles, conducting healing services for thousands of people, and was often compared to Aimee Semple McPherson. She became well known for her “gift of healing” despite, as she often noted, having no theological training (sound familiar?)
